  • All orders above R1200 will qualify for FREE delivery
  • All orders Below R1000 will have a R89 delivery charge
  • All orders between R1000 and R1200 will have a R50 delivery charge

The above excludes international shipping


Shipping Policy

  1. Waaghalsig cannot ship to P.O. boxes, farms, plots or rural areas.
  2. Should you stay on a Farm / Plot or rural area and you have provided us with such a delivery address, we will still book your parcel for delivery to the address you provided but you will be responsible for any additional courier fees the courier might charge. Or the option will be available to collect at your nearest Courier Guy Branch
  3. Waaghalsig does not offer postnet to postnet delivery. Should you opt for your order to be delivered to a postnet, we will still book your order to be delivered to your chosen postnet branch as we will understand that you know someone at the postnet branch that will receive your order on your behalf. If no person wants to accept your parcel at the postnet branch, point 2 terms and conditions will apply
  4. It is mandatory to leave a telephone or mobile number for us to contact you during delivery hours.
  5. All goods in transit are insured.
  6. You can track your orders with the tracking number provided in your orders dispatch confirmation email.
  7. The below shipping categories are offered to you on checkout based on your delivery area code. Waaghalsig will from time to time offer promotional shipping rates, for example free delivery for certain products.
  8. Waaghalsig reserves the right to amend shipping costs at any time. All changes will be disclosed here.
  9. South African shipping costs are broken down as follows:
  • Delivery to your door / address of choice
  • We are billed for transactional values by our website hosting service as well as the payment provider, therefor The R99 delivery Fee will include:
  1. The transactional costing for the R89
  2. The cost for the Courier Service to deliver your parcel to your door (Should you not qualify for Free delivery because the order is below R1200)
  3. Insurance for the Parcel, should it get lost by the Courier Company
  4. We make use of a 3rd Party person to collect parcels from our premises and send our orders via Pudo Lockers (Courier Guy affiliated)  - This Fee is also included in the R89 delivery charge


Delivery

  • Delivery time is based on the estimated time provided by the courier companies we use. At times there might be delays out of our control as we make use of a 3rd party company to deliver all orders.
  • In the case of multiple products within one order, your purchases may come from different locations so expect longer delivery times. Your goods will be held in our warehouse until such time as all goods within your order have arrived and been boxed. Only then will your order be dispatched for delivery.
  • Should a package not be delivered through no fault of ours (e.g. no-one on premises/unable to answer calls/invalid or incomplete address), we will attempt a second delivery. If this is still unsuccessful, we will attempt to contact you via phone and email to make delivery arrangements with you. If we are unable to reach you, the order will be returned to our warehouse and checked back into stock. You will be refunded the amount for the products excluding the original delivery fee, if any.
